Very good sense of humour as I believe laughter is good for the soul.
Staunchly independant, but then no man or woman is an island.
I evidently don't look my age and friends describe me as fun loving, approachable, caring and generally a softy.
I enjoy reading - read both of Khaled Hosseini's books which touched me immensly - so anyone out there that can recommend other books of the same genre - get in touch - and the cinema - Shawshank Redemption and Schindlers List are amongst two of my favourite movies, but also known to like a good old weepy.
I Love the outdoor life, long walks in the country/beach.

I come from a large religious, honourable and loving family. My sisters and sisters in law all wear the hijab and accept that I do not.

What I Am Looking For
I am not looking for a meal ticket, as I have a very comfortable life. Allah has blessed me with a loving family, great friends, good health, a beautiful home, a nice car and a job that takes me around the world.

I have been living the dream for a long time now and that has been to the detriment of finding that elusive 'someone special'. I am looking for a gentleman who shares my love for life. Adores animals and who can laugh at themselves, someone who does not judge me or my friends or lifestyle. Just someone to add and enhance my life by bringing their experiences and mutual transparancy and respect would be wonderful. In other words An Equal Partner.

I have never married through choice (most people call me picky). Marriage is serious business and not something to enter into lightly, thus it has meant I haven't had any children.
